PHILLIPSON PEERLESS "5" IMPREGNATED BAMBOO FLY ROD 3-PIECE

Description

Vintage Phillipson Peerless "5" Impregnated Bamboo Fly Rod. Line weight and other details have rubbed off and are unknown.
MEASUREMENTS:
Bottom two sections: 32.5"
Tip section: ~31.25". Repair overlap reduces length.
Total length as you see it: 7' 11" when assembled. Just over 8' pre-repair.
Beautiful rod, but heavily used with repairs and a loose ferrule at the base of the tip section.
- Repair at top of handle- feels solid, likely needs no attention.
- Repairs to two guides on the middle section, both have also held up well.
- Repair near tip where rod was broken. Feels OK, but I wouldn't trust it for long.
- Top ferrule is partially delaminated from the pole and warped slightly. (Photo 8/9) Tip does not fully slide on as a result.
This rod has been priced with a generous allowance for repairs in mind.
