Original antique lithographed topographical map of the Florida Panhandle and parts of Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi, printed more than 125 years ago.
This map was printed by Julius Bien of New York and published in the
Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies, 1861-1865
, issued in 1891 by the Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C.
The image area measures 41.9 x 69.7 cm [16½" x 27½"], and the map is drawn on a scale of 10 miles to one inch, so there is wonderful detail, including wagon roads, military forts, railroads, lighthouses, cities, towns, ferries, and natural features.

rips, tears, or writing. It has a vertical centerfold, as issued, and is blank on the back, with no printing on the reverse side. It is printed on a heavy paper which has toned slightly with age and turned a bit stiff. You will want to handle it carefully, as you would any old document.
