    Description

This is a large, 13x30 inch, Bird's Eye View of the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. A high resolution scan was recently made of the 1913 original that was published by A.K. Cox of Houghton Michigan. Printed on heavy #100 matte finish paper, using archival inks. With a population of nearly 100,000 people, the Copper Country of Michigan produced the nations copper supply for over 100 years. The clarity of this view is exceptional. you can clearly read the names of all the copper mines, smelters and towns from Houghton to Copper Harbor. It comes shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube. The name Superior View does not appear on the map!
