    Description

SALES TO THE UNITED STATES ONLY, PLEASE!
Nice World War 1 Italian M1870/87/16 Vetterli-Vitali Bayonet made by "BRESCIA"
    (Brescia Arsenal)
with the long retainer spring and leather scabbard. The blade is clean, unsharpened and has no "nicks". This is the correct bayonet, scabbard and frog for the 6.5mm version of the Vetterli-Vitali Rifle as modified with the Mannlicher loading system modified in 1916. The scabbard is marked "Brescia - 1935" which is unusual in that the scabbards were usually marked for the original date of issue
    (1870 to 1887).
    It looks like
the bayonet and scabbard were issued but never abused.
