Helmet has nickel plated Savoy cross mounted on front. Black fur backing band with metal upper shell. Ornately decorated gilded brass crest showing lions head at front. Lower badge shows monogram VE for Vittorio Emanuele. Chin straps have brass plaques running length with leather band and metal buckle. Italian cockade on right side as shown. Black leather lining. In excellent condition for age. See photos.

    Early 1900s Royal Italian Army Cavalry  Officers Crested Helmet.
