    Description

This replica swamp cooler is just what you need to give your ride that vintage look. I originally made one of these swamp coolers for my corvair.  I received so many compliments on it that I decided to make more for those who didn't want to pay the big bucks for an original unit. So here it is; these ones up for sale are new. It is only a replica as in it is hollow on the inside so you don't add water to them (although, I have had some customers modify them to create a functioning evaporative cooler). It IS functional as a blower, it really moves a lot of air into the car while the car is moving. You can add ice to the cooler by simply putting ice packs through the window slot. This swamp cooler is professionally built using precision machined parts. It is made from solid 3/8" thick industrial grade plastic. It is very heavy duty and weighs 8lbs (which is a little less then the dry weight of an original swamp cooler). It will mount nice and snug to just about any vintage vehicle. There won't be any rattles or vibrations even at highway speeds. This one up for auction is just like the ones pictured except it is NOT PAINTED. The painted units are photos I have received from customers. It will be a mix of white and dark grey as shown in one of the photos. It is ready and very easy to paint, all that is required is fine sanding to clean and prep the surface then apply your choice of paint. The grill is removable so you can paint the inside black which helps hide the lack of internal parts. If you need any guidance with painting just let me know and I can walk you through it.
    The tube is 20" x 6-5/8"
    Universal window mount
Lead time can be up to 5 weeks depending on stock and back orders. I have received amazing feedback on these swamp coolers and they've become very popular. Due to this they have been selling faster than I can make them.
