7 1/2' 2/2 Montague Rapidan bamboo fly rod VG NR

Description

This auction is for a 7 1/2' bamboo fly rod with two tips. Montague Rapidan model with 100% complete decal. Brown wraps tipped gold are all in very good condition and look original. Nice 5/6 wt split-cane fly rod ready to fish or collect. Rod looks to have been over-coated at some point with varnish in good to very good condition with only a few nicks and scratches. Butt section is approximately 1/2" shorter than the tips and the exact length of rod when assembled is 7' 5 1/2". Size 12 ferrules (measure .187") separate with a soft pop. See pictures for full description. Sold as shown.
